QAU Delegation Visits Seven Institutions in Malaysia and Thailand

From April 21st to 28th, Liu Chunxia, Vice President of Qingdao Agricultural University(QAU), led a delegation to visit seven universities and institutions in Malaysia and Thailand, including Tunku Abdul Rahman University, International University of Malay-Wales, Malaysian Young Farmers Cooperative, Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep, Dhurakij Pundit University, Krirk University, and Singburi College of Agriculture and Technology, and achieved fruitful results.

During the visit to Tunku Abdul Rahman University in Malaysia, the delegation had a discussion with the president. The two sides would cooperate extensively in student exchanges, teacher visits, and cooperative research projects. During the visit to Malaysia, the delegation paid a return visit to the Malaysian Young Farmers Cooperative. The two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation on technology promotion and cooperative training. During the visit to the International University of Malay-Wales, the delegation talked with the Vice Presidents Steve Griffiths and Tay Kay Luan. The two sides planned to cooperate in student exchanges and joint international conferences, and discussed the joint training of doctors.

The delegation also visited four universities of Thailand. During the visit to Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep, the delegation talked with the President Dr. Sukit Nitinai, and discussed the details of the specific cooperation between the two universities in the undergraduate and master's programs of international business administration and human resources management. During the visit to Dhurakij Pundit University and Krirk University in Thailand, the delegation had a discussion with Wang Changming, vice president of China-ASEAN International College of Dhurakij Pundit University and Dr. Prangtip Yuvanont, Vice President and Director of Krirk University. The two sides exchanged views on student exchanges. During the visit to the Singburi College of Agriculture and Technology, the delegation talked with representatives of 10 agricultural science and technology colleges in central Thailand and exchanged ideas on the training of Thai teachers and students with the university.
