On the morning of April 7, the opening ceremony of the second “The Belt and Road” & Sino-Thai Cultural Exchange Festival was hold at the Academic Conference Hall of Qingdao Agricultural University(QAU). Yuan Yongbing, vice president of QAU, Ms. Zheng Chaonan, the director of Qingdao Student Service Center from Dhurakij Pundit University, Ms. Lu Huiting, the assistant director of Qingdao Student Service Center from Dhurakij Pundit University and Chi Shaojun, the teacher of Qingdao Student Service Center from Dhurakij Pundit University attended the opening ceremony, Zheng Dan, the Director of the Office for International Cooperation and Exchange, hosted the opening ceremony. Yuan Yongbing and Zheng Chaonan delivered speeches respectively on the opening ceremony of the second “Belt and Road”•China-Thai Culture Exchange Festival. The stakeholders of animation and communication college and management college of QAU attended the ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, Yuan Yongbing pointed out that the school will use this activity as an opportunity to provide a broad platform for teachers and students to deepen their understanding of the countries along the “Belt and Road” and take practical action to promote " the Belt and Road " contribution to positive force for the implementation of the initiative. The relevant staff of the Office for International Cooperation of QAU, the relevant staff of Dhurakij Pundit University, and some teachers and students of our school participated in the opening ceremony.

In the afternoon, the second “Belt and Road” • Sino-Thai Cultural Exchange Festival was held in the Expert Building of our school. Thai food, fashioon, special local products and cultural exchange activities attracted hundreds of teachers and students of our school. The staff of the Qingdao Service Center from Dhurakij Pundit University presented Thai national costumes and products with cultural characteristics and the Thailand culture of studying abroad to the teachers and students who participated in this activity. They tasted Thai specialties, fruits, etc. together. Among them, the Thai dance performed by the students of Association for International Cooperation and Exchange of our school is very popular among teachers and students.
