On July 8, Qingdao Agricultural University(QAU) held an appointment ceremony for visiting professors. Academician of Science and Technology Hanlin, Professor Li Xiangli of Qingshan University and Academician Jin Nanheng of Zhongbei University were engaged as visiting professors. President Song Xiyun attended the appointment ceremony and issued letters of appointment for the two academicians. The appointment ceremony was presided over by Professor Sun Shimeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Life Sciences.

Song Xiyun sincerely welcomed the visits of Academician Li Xiangmei and Academician Jin Nanheng, and briefly introduced the situation of the school in terms of the basic situation of the school, discipline construction, scientific and technological innovation, international cooperation and exchange, etc. Song Xiyun said that the joining of the two academicians is a great event for the school.
