On June 2-3, the 10th Shandong University Student Science and Technology Festival ERP Sand Table Simulation Management Competition (undergraduate group) and the 14th National College Students "New Road Cup" Sand Table Simulation Management Competition Shandong Provincial Finals were held at Shandong Youth Political College, amd 124 teams from 52 universities in the province and about more than 800 teachers and students took apart. After fierce competition, the three teams under the guidance of Wang Jian and Li Jing from the laboratory management office Qingdao Agricultural University (QAU), won 2 first prizes and 1 second prize.

The competition was organized by Shandong Science and Technology Association, Shandong Provincial Education Department, Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Shandong Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission, Shandong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and Joint Committee of National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers, and jointly hosted by Shandong Youth Political College and Xindao Technology Co., Ltd.  With the substantial support of the Dean's Office, the teachers and students have made full preparation for the competition. Since March,the 6th QAU ERP Sand Table Simulation Management Competition has been held throughout the school. After two months of school competition training, written examinations, group competitions, etc., three outstanding teams were selected from more than 100 teams to participate in the Shandong Provincial Finals. In the two-day provincial competition, the team members faced strong competitors and many difficulties and challenges. They kept calm, performed their duties and cooperated with each other, and finally achieved excellent results.

In recent years, QAU has insisted on finding and selecting innovative talents,  taking the cultivation of students' awareness and ability of innovation and entrepreneurship as long-term work. QAU actively promoted ERP sand table practice teaching, and sent outstanding students to participate in the university sand table simulation management competition for nine consecutive years. It has won provincial special prize, first prize, second prize and national second prize and third prize for many times. It has made remarkable achievements in colleges and universities of Shandong Provinces.
