QAU's Bathurst Future Agri-Tech Institute Approved by the Ministry of Education

On April 26, Bathurst Future Agri-Tech Institute of Qingdao Agricultural University (QAU), a Chinese-foreign cooperative school jointly established by QAU and the Royal Agricultural University, has been officially approved by the Ministry of Education. The establishment of Bathurst Future Agri-Tech Institute of QAU is not only a landmark achievement for the implementation of international school running strategy, but also a significant milestone on the the construction of a high-level university with outstanding advantages and distinctive characteristics.

The institute is a Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run school with a non-independent legal entity. It has four undergraduate majors, namely Agronomy, Agricultural Resources and Environment, Food Science and Engineering, and Logistics Management. It's total scale has reached 1200 people and 300 students are enrolled each year under the overall arrangement of the enrollment plan of QAU. The Royal Agricultural University will send prominent teachers to QAU. And excellent teachers from the two sides are going to work together to give lessons in Chinese and English. QAU adopts the "4+0" double degree training model, which means that, students who have studied at QAU for four years undergraduates can also enjoy the experience of study abroad and acquire high-quality British education without going abroad. Students who meet the requirements of the personnel training program jointly formulated by QAU and The Royal Agricultural University can obtain the undergraduate graduation certificate, bachelor's degree certificate of QAU and the corresponding bachelor's degree certificate of the Royal Agricultural University.

In recent years, QAU has always adhered to the orientation of "academic, high-end, and international", actively explored the educational path of introducing foreign high-quality educational resources, and constantly improved international school-running level.
