On July 14th, Yang Tongyi, vice-president of QAU went to the West Coast New Economic Area of Qingdao and held discussions with the local leaders concerning the construction of the Institute of Modern Agriculture of QAU.

Prof. Yang introduced the constructing mode and experience for the university and local government to jointly build a research institute and the work progress.Both parties discussed and confirmed the future tasks of the Institute, agreed to further push the building of the Institute, and dispatch experts of the university to the Institute to conduct technology research and development and provide services according to the needs of the Modern Agricultural Demonstration Area.
