The exchange meeting was conducted by the way of students' hosting and asking questions in English. There were 22 graduate students from five universities at home and abroad and the School of Plant Medicine of QAU exchanged ideas on the theme of "Interaction between Plant and Environment & Human Health". In addition, teachers and students from various countries went to Qingdao Changsheng Nidian Solar Technology Co., Ltd., which is located in the photovoltaic town of Jimo, to investigate the development of the solar industry and its application in agriculture, as well as the production processes of various solar greenhouses and fungal rods.
This seminar started in 2006 and was held by member universities in turn, once a year. Since the fourth session in 2009, our school has participated in a total of eleven seminars (three of which have been hosted). Sixty students participated in the meeting and gave reports, and 500 graduate students listened to the report. This mode of exchange has become an important mode for international academic exchanges of graduate students in our university, and it played a good exemplary role in promoting international academic exchanges of graduate students in our university in the future.
