On November 15th, the Hiiibrand Awards 2018 and the ninth Hiiibrand International Brand Logo Design Contest announced the final list of winners. The team, led by Sun Yunkuan and Lu Zongli of School of Animation and Media, won the bronze medal in the professional group with their work, the Visual Identity Recognition Design of School of Animation and Media of the Qingdao Agricultural University.

The Hiiibrand International Brand Logo Design Contest is an important international design competition for the collection of design works worldwide. It is recognized by the ico-D International Design Council (one of the world ’s largest and most influential graphic design professional international organizations), and is used to discover outstanding design teams and individuals at home and abroad and praise outstanding design works with the influence of Hiiibrand. In this competition, 1780 valid entries from more than 40 countries and regions were received. After strict preliminary and final evaluation by four international judges, the professional group selected 2 gold awards, 7 silver awards, and 24 bronze awards , 51 outstanding works.

"Visual Identity Recognition Design of School of Animation and Media of Qingdao Agricultural University" is the new brand image created by the school. The main body of the logo is composed of light beams in different directions, symbolizing the changes and infinite possibilities of animation and media. Five colors represents the five majors of the college. In the graduation season of 2019, students from the School of Animation and Media have put on their school shirts designed by Wen Chuang Studio, confidently showing their professionalism and vitality on behalf of their school.
