On December 9, Neil Ravenscroft, vice president of the Royal Agricultural University of the UK and a group of 10 people visited Qingdao Agricultural University. Shan Liandai, deputy secretary of the Party committee, met with the guests. The two sides had a discussion in the conference room of the academic hall to discuss the joint establishment of a Chinese foreign cooperative school.

Shan Liandai said that the cooperation between the two universities is of great significance to the discipline construction, academic exchange and talent cultivation of both sides. Since the establishment of the cooperation relationship in June 2018, the two sides have continuously strengthened in-depth exchanges. Our delegation visited the Royal Agricultural University of England twice to discuss cooperation matters. The discipline settings of both sides are similar, which has a good prospect for cooperation in the fields of Agronomy, Veterinary Medicine, etc. It is hoped that the two sides will continue to strengthen ties in major selection, course matching, personnel setting, etc., and speed up personnel training and multi-disciplinary, high-level cooperative research.
