On August 1st, the "Global Technology" column of the 14th edition of Guangming Daily publishes the article "Cymphony: The Mystery of Biological Evolution and Diversity" by Professor Liu Runjin of QAU. The article introduces the most common, basic and effective but often neglected biological mechanism-- “biological symbiosis” from the aspects of the wonderful symbiosis in nature, symbiosis for maintaining the balance of ecosystem, the relationship between symbiosis and win-win.

In fact, this article is a high-level compactness and introduction to the scientific popularization of bio-symbiosis and the research results of Professor Liu Runjin of QAU. The book "Bio-symbiosis" was written by Professor Liu Runjin and Dr. Wang Lin. In July of this year it is funded by the National Science and Technology Academic Publications Fund and published by the Science Press. The book is promoted by the academician Wei Jiangchun of the Chinese Academy of Sciences by writing a preface, and it is one of the achievements of the establishment and development of a new edge discipline of “bio-symbiosis”.

The research results of "Bio-symbiosis" not only enrich and develop the theory and knowledge of biology, but also effectively promote the development and establishment of symbiosis, and at the same time they promote the settlement of the existing environmental problems, resource problems, food safety and health issues. Besides, they also have important strategic guiding significance for promoting the sustainable development of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery production, pharmaceutical industry and health service.
