Song Xiyun, the President of Qingdao Agricultural University, signed an agreement with Vadim Babushkin, the President of Michurin National Agricultural University of Russia on March 24th. The main content of the agreement was that QAU and MNAUHorticultureScienceResearchCenterwould be held.

The agreement provides those following protocols: the two universities will exchange undergraduates, postgraduates and doctors to learn and to do research, exchange undergraduates and postgraduates to take part in summer camp or winter camp, exchange teaching staff to do the research, lecture and academic discussion. In addition, they will co-declare scientific research projects, exchange bilateral academic publications and cooperate in the aspects which both sides are interested in.

During the visit, the President Babushkin held discussion with some celebrities of QAU, such as vice-President Yuan Yongbing and the Deans of the following schools: School of Horticulture, School of Cooperatives, School of Food Science and Engineering.
