On March 20, the opening ceremony of 7th China and Korea CEO Class was held jointly by Qingdao Agricultural University and Changwon National University. Song Xiyun, President of Qingdao Agricultural University, and Jin Xingqi, Academic Dean of Changwon National University, and Li Xizai, the Qingdao committee President of Korea’s Association of Democarcy, Peace and Unity, attend the ceremony.

Song Xiyun made a speech at the opening ceremony. He said that the CEO class aimed to enhance the skills and business ideas of entrepreneurs, and built a high-level platform for training and communicating. The CEO class has been held successfully for six years since 2007. It has trained 170 participants from all walks of life in Qingdao who were outstanding representatives in economy, trade, culture and service industry, the backbone to promote exchanges and cooperation between China and South Korea. The successful CEO training of China and Korea made great contribution to Qingdao's economic construction and the friendly exchanges between China and Korea. Qingdao Agricultural University will further improve the training conditions, provide excellent service, increase training efficiency and improve the quality of training courses to ensure its successful organization. We hope that all the students can put the knowledge into business management practices, try their best to improve the competitiveness and development capabilities of enterprises in China, and play an important role in bilateral economic and cultural exchanges and make greater contribution.

Professor Jin Xingqi gave a brief introduction about the previous CEO courses at the ceremony. President Xue, the chairman of Alumni General Association, and Li Xizai, the Qingdao committee President of Korea’s Association of Democracy, Peace and Unity, and Huang Darun, the contact person of CEO class, and Li Nande, the representative of freshmen, also delivered speeches at the ceremony.

The CEO class was co-hosted by Qingdao Agricultural University and Changwon National University. It regarded the Korea's business in Qingdao as the main object. Its main purpose was to provide training for CEO of Korean corporate with the latest management theories and the information about taxation, labor, environment, finance, etc. So the Korean enterprises in Qingdao could adapt to the constant changeable environment of China, and promote their good and fast development. At the same time, the training could also help to build up a communication platform for business and enhance friendship and mutual cooperation between them. The training course in this year which consisted of 49 participants was the largest number in history. Most of them were outstanding representatives from all works of life such as legal profession, business, medical profession, education and so on.
