From July 10th to 13th, the 9th College Athletics Games among China's Agricultural Univrsities was held in He'nan Agricultural University. The Athletics Team of Qingdao Agricultural University(QAU) won the Championship for the first time, which makes a historic breakthrough.

There are three groups: Group A, B and C. Group A was a group of high-level athletes (15 teams), Group B was a general undergraduate group (23 teams), and Group C was a junior college group (6 teams). 21 athletes (10males and 11 females) of Qingdao Agricultural University took part in the competition of Group B. The male team won the first place with 126.5 points, and the female team won the second place with 97 points. QAU(Qingdao Agricultural University) won the championship with a huge advantage of 223.5 points, achieving a new breakthrough in the history of sports competitions in China's agricultural universites.

In recent years, QAU has explored a new way to form sports teams among undergraduates. The atheletics team, the dragon boat team and the men's soccer team have continuously created history and have become the symbol of QAU's competitive sports.

The achievement of the QAU's competitive sports of is derived from the innovation of the management system and the contribution of the coaches. It is also comes from the hard training of the student athletes, and the spirit of the QAU formed over the past decades. The Department of Physical Education will continue to explore the way of physical education and continuously improve the quality of students.
