The mathematical modeling team,established by Sun XIaochen, a junior student of Property Right specialty,Economy and Management Academy of QAU, won the Honorable Mention (second-class prize equally in China )in American College Students‘ Mathematical Modeling Contest (ACSMMC) on 11th April.

Three team members received a 15-day training under the instructions of the teacher in winter vacation. and participated in the competition from January 29th to February 2nd.” In addition to discussing the modeling methods with my teammates,I am responsible for the translation of the 20-page paper, ”Sun said ,”It’s exhausting but rewarding, too .”

ACSMMCis an exclusively International Mathematical Modeling Contest and the most influential one worldwide. It requires the three-undergraduate group to accomplish modeling, problem-solving,result-verifying and paper writing based on a given issue within four days.The contest attracts attention of many famous universities. More than 9773 teams from five continents were engaged in ACSMMC in 2015. It has been recognized as one of the most famous international college students’ contests.
