Food Science and Engineering College is one of the biggest colleges of the Qingdao Agricultural University, which is located in the beautiful coastal city Qingdao, also known as the Olympic Sailing City, enrolling more than 1800 undergraduates and 90 post-graduates.

The Department of Food Science and Engineering was founded in 1993, and renamed the College of Food Science and Engineering in 2005. The college has a faculty and staff of 60 members, including 11 professors and 16 associate professors.

There are 6 undergraduate programs including Food Science, Food Quality and Safety, Bioengineering, Cereal Engineering and Grape Engineering.

The college has three research institutes and a key laboratory which undertake various research projects. Around 400 of scientific papers published, in which 30 papers were published in SCI & EI journals.

The college has established good communication and cooperation relationships with both domestic and overseas universities, companies and organizations.
