Graduate Education of Qingdao Agricultural University
- Our graduate education began from 1998, and the first 8 graduate students were admitted to pursue their training and research in fruit trees and crop cultivation and farming in 1999. Now we have 31 master degree programs and 2 professional degree programs which cover the discipline categories of agronomy, engineering, natural science and management. The master degrees belong to 10 first-class disciplines of crop science, horticulture, plant protection, veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, forest science, biology, agricultural engineering, food science and engineering, and agricultural and forestry economics & management. Currently there are approximately 300 graduate students and about 150 supervisors in the university. The graduate education is facing challenges as well as unprecedented chances, we are now deepening the reform of the graduate education to fit the needs of the time and the society.
