College of Management
- The College of Management has evolved from the former Department of Agricultural Economy, which was established in 1984. There are computerized accounting lab, manual accounting simulation lab and enterprise resource planning (ERP) lab, a College library with all kinds of magazines and quality academic books, an economy management experiment center, which is under construction and sponsored by the provincial government with an investment of 4 million yuan.
- We offer two master's degree programs for agricultural economy management and agricultural extension; four bachelor's degree programs for economics and management of agriculture and forest, accounting, financial management, logistics management; two specialty programs for economics and management of agriculture and forest, and financial management. Our programs combine a solid foundation in the basic theory and practice of economics and modern management with a broad background in business administration and the liberal arts, and thus open the door for you to private industry, government and not-for profit institutions. Presently, there are 1400 full-time students pursuing for their undergraduate and postgraduate studies here.
- There are 49 full-time teachers, including 16 persons with senior titles, 6 people with doctorate degree and 34 people with master's degree. They show their academic excellence and are beloved by the students.
- Agricultural economy and management is one of the fields that the university gives first priority for their developments. Rural Economy Research Institute was founded in the university by the Shandong Provincial Education Department in 1997. Till 2005, the university authority set up the Research Institute of Accounting and Finance, and a research center for international cooperation and economic development. An Institute of South Korean Industrial Economy was established in 2006. The College has pooled a number of experts and scholars both in and out of the university. 35 projects of different levels have been carried out. The published works within the recent three years include 19 textbooks and academic works, and more than 150 academic papers. 10 prizes have been awarded for scientific fruits by the provincial government.
