College of Economics

The College of Economics has evolved from the Department of Agricultural Economy, which was established in 1984. In accordance with the readjustment of the university, a new college of economy and trade was set up in July, 2005. Now the college offers two bachelor's degree programs in international economy and trade, E-commerce; three associate's degree programs in international trade, international finance, and market promotion. There are 1540 full-time students registered currently.
There are 46 staff members, including 2 professors, 10 associate professors, and 12 lecturers. Among the 40 full-time teachers, there are 6 teachers with doctoral degree, 31 teachers with master's degree, and 8 teachers as supervisors of postgraduate candidates pursuing for master's degree. The college consists of 5 teaching units for international trade, international finance, law, economics and E-commerce. Our E-commerce lab and library provide excellent learning and researching environment. The vigorous and innovative faculty members work harmoniously together with the experts from other universities. We have carried out more than 20 projects of different levels. Dozens of academic books and more than 100 papers have been published in recent years.
